This 14 piece ARP High Competition Head Stud set can be used as replacement for XK engines with 3.4 and 3.8 ltr OE head studs C2269, C2270 & C29035. For normal "street" applications. Standard chrome nuts and chrome washers can be used and are torqued to 60 ft lbs with some 30W oil. ARP nuts (C2323TJP) and washers (C2328TJP) can also be used and the torque is the same.
Please note: Every XK engine always has 1 "dowel" stud. With the ARP dowels this is not supported. Fitment of these studs is without a locating dowel.
High tensile Cylinder Head Stud 6-1/2".
For Race applications must be use with C2323TJP washers and C2328TJP nuts or use with 12 point special nut C2328TJP12 torqued to 70 ft lbs with some 30W oil.
Note: Torque plate is mandatory for race applications
Made from 8740 Nickel Chrome Moly Steel. These ARP Cylinder head Studs Replaces the original Stud. With a 190,000 psi Tensile strength. Thread rolled to MIL-S-8879 spec and finished in a black oxide finish against corrosion.
